Southern Africa from the 1960's until the development of advanced digital photography yielded some outstanding slide collections of wildlife and the great outdoors.
Often taken with traditional SLR cameras with telephoto lenses and developed onto Kodachrome Transparencies. These collections offer a unique glimpse into the wildlife and landscapes of Southern Africa during that era.
HDPrinting.co.uk was founded with one of these amazing collections.
The Photographer
Until recent times many original slides were thought lost, but now through modern technology and digital scanning we can bring some of those slides back to their former glory in High Definition, and tell the tales of those animals photographed so many years ago.
Through the use of cutting-edge digital scanning techniques and AI, we are able to reclaim and revive original slides that were previously considered lost, shedding light on the fascinating narratives of the animals depicted in these remarkable images.
We saw the need in the market to bring all photographer’s pictures to life and showcase their work using modern technology, and is working within the industry to partner with artists and other photographers to provide these images to everyone.
